Healthy Active Learning Team Lead

At Sport Manawatū, we’re passionate about getting Everyone Active – Kia Mātātoa Tātou.

We’re looking for a dedicated leader to support our Healthy Active Learning team in improving tamariki wellbeing through physical activity. This role involves working alongside schools, kura, and communities to advocate for sustainable and equitable access to active opportunities.

If you’re passionate about tamariki wellbeing, skilled in relationship-building, and experienced in developing teams, we’d love to hear from you. This is a part-time (30 hours per week) role, offering the chance to make a real impact in the community.

Event Planner

We are looking for a talented Event Planner / Coordinator to join our team and help us create memorable events that align with our purpose and values.

The Event Planner will be responsible for organising and coordinating various events, specifically our larger events like Stakeholder Evenings and Sports Awards. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can manage all aspects of event planning and execution. Additionally, the Event Planner will develop templates and guidelines to enable other team members to plan and execute events independently.

This is a part time (20 hours per week), fixed term role until end of June 2025.
