Presenter: Joanna Taylor
Joanna Taylor is a Registered Psychologist with eight years of experience in Health Psychology, specialising in long-term health conditions and oncology. Her eclectic therapy style, grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), emphasises a holistic approach to wellness, integrating mind, body, and spirit. Joanna excels in working with tamariki/rangatahi, couples, and families, fostering connection and resilience in her clients. She also serves as the Chair of the Central Districts Branch of the NZ Psychological Society, mentoring local psychology students and contributing to the advancement of her profession.
Presenter: Kristen White
Kristen C. White is a dietitian with over 20 years of experience helping women achieve better health with food. As a busy working mum herself, she understands first-hand the balancing act that many women are trying to achieve.
Presenters: Kimberley Khanna
Kimberley’s passion for health education started whilst studying for her undergraduate degree in anatomy and physiology at the University of Bristol, England. A career in teaching in higher education followed. When Kimberley became a mum she turned her attention to women's health, to address the many issues she experienced firsthand. She developed a successful perinatal rehab studio and completed a masters in Physiotherapy. In order to be closer to her parents and siblings who all live in the Manawatū, Kimberley moved to New Zealand in January 2024 with her husband and two children.
Presenter: Shirley Shapleski
Shirley Shapleski is a clinical nurse specialist of sleep, educator, and advocate for women’s health. As a mother and someone navigating the challenges of perimenopause, she brings both professional expertise and personal insight into the unique sleep needs women face throughout their lives.
Passionate about empowering others, Shirley loves teaching practical strategies for achieving better sleep and fostering overall well-being. Her talk explores the changes to women’s sleep across life stages and offering relatable advice.
